Best wishes to Senator Ted Kennedy and family
May 20th, 2008This isn’t a political blog, and with the exception of women’s and marriage rights I agree with Senator Kennedy on virtually nothing.
However, Senator Kennedy is a human being, and he has been diagnosed with a brain tumor. My own father died of complications from malignant astrocytoma, many years ago. Despite being but a child, I remember vividly the slow deterioration he underwent, particularly as his ability to communicate failed him.
I would not wish this on anyone, and therefore extend my regards to Senator Kennedy and family while hoping for full recovery.

My prays and thoughts are with the Kennedy family. Growing up during many of the Kennedy years, I feel my life was molded by them and my strong family. I’ve have worked in mental health as a nurse for 30 years. I lost my husband to brain cancer he was 47. I just want to say to the family I’m praying for them, and thanks for all they have done for our county, and hope for full recover.
