FTC shuts down “Spoof-Spyware” software company

The FTC just announced that they have closed down and frozen the assets of one of those fake anti-spyware removal companies.

Nice job FTC. Stick to the big names, computers users.

Spykiller from SWANKSOFT aka TRUSTSOFT has been ordered by Federal Court, vis a vis law suit filed by the FTC, to freeze all assests while case is pending, yet the company is still promising to furnish new “free” and “better” software to customers, who were not refunded money for purchase of SPYKILLER software. This is in violation of court orders to make any such promises etc., as assets have been frozen by court order.
