International Keylogger Championships temporarily postponed

Sunbelt announced that they have uncovered a new ring of identity thieves using keystroker logging trojan, and they are now putting the kabosh on it.

After performing an audit of CoolWebSearch, a program that routinely hijacks Internet Explorer user functions, they discovered the nasty pest. On top of running underneath Windows IE, the trojan also grabs data from Windows clipboard, and sends the data to remote servers.

If you are a Sunbelt Counterspy user, you can grab the latest updates for protecting against this spyware here.
