Help! I am dwelling on all the computer security issues I have to think about for Spamroll: spam, spyware, phishing, id theft, and all the bickering going on around companies and politicians. Luckily, I don’t know jack about any of this stuff, so I just type happily away on my Mac behind multiple firewalls, and all is well. Or is it?
A couple of months ago, I sign up for Vonage and cut my cell service in half. I think I am smart by saving some major bucks. Now I hear that some folks have set up a group to deal with VoIP security issues, and now I just gag. I am pretty unpopular around town (at least Scott Richter likes me), but do I have to start worrying about someone eavesdropping while I am making [infrequent] dinner plans?
At least I don’t have to deal with Skype security holes everyday.
