Don’t be a prima donna – show a little class

Yesterday, the TypePad blogging service suffered an outage. I read quotes from so called “professional bloggers” pissing and moaning and calling Six Apart “ridiculous.” I am not even going to link back to the bullshit, because bad publicity is still publicity for you. You know who you are. You missed your four 50 cent ad clicks yesterday, and now you are pissed. I’ve got some news for you, Gods o’ Blogs…

First, Six Apart started the game you are in – you wouldn’t be here if not for them. Second, nothing (especially new things) works perfect all the time. Third, you “professional bloggers” out there are starting to sound like traditional journalists – give me a break – you are hacks! Fourth, you are not very good hacks, or you’d have your own site on your own server running your own platform.

Unfortunately, you are one of growing group of people on this planet who would rather NOT take matters into their own hands – it leaves you someone else to point fingers at for your own ineptitude. That is most of what you do on your “professional blogs” anyway, isn’t it? Instead of being whiny babies, why don’t you show a little respect, show a little patience, show a little humility, and show a little initative.

While you are at it, show a little class, like this guy.
