They get to worry about exposing the company network to hackers as well.
A trojan program is about to be released that can open holes to the internal networks of companies that have Blackberry servers installed. The software, BBProxy, can be directly installed on devices, or transferred via email attachment. It opens a backdoor, allowing hackers to circumvent the messaging gateway’s security.
I’ve seen hardcore Blackberry users in action. They type, type away, oblivious to the world around them. They can’t take their eyes off their little screens, and will even interrupt you in a meeting to open and answer emails. In other words, they have serious ADD, and therefore make the perfect candidates to fool into opening and/or passing on infected files. This is a problem looking for a solution – lets hope Blackberry finds one, and quickly.
