Blue Frog, the anti-spammer spamming service that fell flat on its face some months back, is getting into politics. They are going to use the service to assist grassroots campaigners in flooding inboxes, filling out online petitions, and seed forums (say Digg?) with favorable news items.
Sounds like they are assisting with political spam, but I think the politicos are pretty capable without them. Maybe, if we’re lucky, they’ll screw up again right before the ’08 elections, and wind up redirecting their traffic to Daily Kos and Redstate.
UPDATE: A Slashdot poster calls it a “Social Action Enabler” – I still say it is a “Politico Enabler” where none is really needed.
