RFID protection bound in complexity

A research report outlines specifications for a personal RFID firewall (h/t to Slashdot) – its another mobile, battery powered device to protect against RFID scans (at least that is what I think it is, but I’m pretty simple minded, so you can’t be sure).

Now you can carry around an electronic device to protect your other electronic devices! Unless, of course, someone aims to integrate the device into your other devices – then you are safe. At least until someone figures out how to hack that device, then someone will create a battery powered device to protect against the hacking of that “integrated” device, and you can start all over again.

I’ve got three Chinese manufacturers ready to produce my lead wallets – any other bidders out there?
