Worried about social network security, in a world of no panties

Security concerns are growing around social networks like MySpace and YouTube, and I just have to ask why.

You have a group of people who built those sites (the users) on blogging their latest infidelities, filming the last extremely stupid thing they did, passing on the latest conspiracy theory, and of course, violating copyright laws every chance they had. Those users are hardly concerned about privacy and/or security. But of course, now that the mainstream (i.e media) has caught on (with an eye to marketing at that group), security is now a “concern.”

I’d like to wish them all luck.
